The purpose of the audit is to support the users in judging the financial statements based on the auditor’s opinion and to increase their confidence in the financial statements. Our audit services include the audit of annual separate and consolidated financial statements, balance sheets, transition accounts and interim financial statements prepared in accordance with statutory, IFRS or specific group standards.

We help our Clients find solutions to any extraordinary issues. Where independence and ethical standards permit, we are ready to advise our clients on accounting issues and file a request for authority position, if needed. We will help you draw up your accounting policies and the related regulations.

We support our Clients with their investment decisions by conducting a full or limited scope (focus oriented) review of the target company(ies)’ financial information and preparing a report in the requested form. These include detailed analytical materials or shorter red flag reports.

We are also at our Clients’ disposal with additional assurance services, in accordance with audit standards and other requirements. We have extensive experience in auditing business plans to be prepared and submitted as part of authorisation processes, across a range of industries. We are available for the valuation of in-kind contributions and the related reviews, be it receivables, real property or other in-kind contribution.

Upon your request we are happy to draw up your Hungarian statutory or IFRS separate or group financial statements. If financial statements are required under a specific framework, for example for bank financing, we can help you with discussions of the requirements and prepare such framework as well as present the financial information accordingly. We will assist you in preparing the balance sheet and the inventory of assets and liabilities required for transformation or transition, subject to the rules on independence and code of conduct.

The auditor’s responsibility typically includes the performance of agreed-upon procedures in the case of IFRS transition, grant accounting or balance and sales confirmation letters for partners. We actively participate in this from the beginning of the engagement to ensure that both the task and the necessary information and materials are appropriately defined so that we can then efficiently serve our Clients’ needs.
